"We should be a very good team this year," Roosevelt coach Mike Quint said. "Talent-wise we have it. Now, we just have to make sure our minds are there."

Focus and concentration are a couple intangibles particularly needed in hockeyβand required elements of a championship-caliber team.
"It has to be there," Quint said. "This program has had this kind of talent in the past. But the focus just wasn't there. We're hoping to change that this season. We think we can and will do that."
The Bears will be tested plenty this season, including this match-up with Grosse Ile. The Michigan Metro Hockey League is loaded with top-notch foes, and a league title will be well earned should Roosevelt be fortunate enough to capture it this year.
"It's a tough league," Quint said. "Teams like Grosse Pointe South, Trenton and Woodhavenβall of those teams are going to be right there. We have to play tough and play our best every game."ο»Ώ
