Michigan has two of the longest-ever serving members of Congress. One retires in January. Did the other win re-election Tuesday?

U.S. Rep. John Conyers has easily won re-election to Michigan’s 13th congressional district.
With the retirement of U.S. Rep. John Dingell, another Michigan Democrat, Conyers will become the longest-ever serving member of Congress. Conyers was first elected in 1965.
With 13 percent of precincts reporting, Conyers had 86 percent of the vote. GOP challenger Jeff Gorman had 7 percent, and Libertarian Chris Sharer and Sam Johnson, no party affiliation, had 2 percent each.
