Ecorse Police Release Cause of Motorcycle Crash Near Wyandotte, Condition of Driver
CBS Detroit reported a motorcyclist crashed his bike into an oncoming car near the Wyandotte and Ecorse boarder Friday morning.

A motorcyclist involved in a crash is expected to live after crashing his bike at about 4 a.m Friday near the Ecorse and Wyandotte border, according to the Ecorse Police Department.
Ecorse police said excessive speed caused the man to lose control of his motorcycle, which lead to the crash.
CBS Detroit reported the man crashed his bike into an oncoming car and suffered serious head injuries. The driver of the impacted car had minor injuries, according to CBS Detroit.
The News-Herald reported a female passenger on the motorcycle was also injured.
Police have not determined if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
Wyandotte Police Chief Daniel Grant said the Ecorse Police Department is handling the investigation because the vehicles made impact on the Ecorse side of the border.
Grant said he would not comment on another department's investigation.
