Ice Travaganza 2015 - Skating Through the 80's - Mar. 20 - 22

Wyandotte Figure Skating Club’s Board of Directors, in conjunction with the City of Wyandotte Learn to Skate program, is pleased to host the 2015 ice show – Ice Travaganza: Skating Through the 80’s – to be held March 20, 21 & 22, 2015 at Yack Arena.

“We are extremely excited to have a new director of Ice Travaganza this year,” said Kim Cole, president of Wyandotte Figure Skating Club. “Kim Diehl has been a part of our shows for many years – first as a skater, then as a coach, and now as our show director! Her talent is inspiring our skaters, and we are pleased to have her lead our show and our skaters.

“Skating Through the 80’s” will include popular hits of the 80’s. It will bring the audience back to the days of metal bands and big hair. Skating Through the 80’s will celebrate one of the best decades of music yet! In addition, the audience will enjoy guest skater, Alexis Proudluck of Arctic Figure Skating Club, Canton, Mich. Proudluck placed 4th at the Eastern Great Lakes Regional Championships which qualified her for the United States Junior National Figure Skating Championships.

Discounted pre-sale tickets for the show can be purchased during normal business hours at Yack Arena located at 3131 3rd St., Wyandotte, MI. The shows will be on March 20 at 7 p.m., March 21 at 1 and 7 p.m., and March 22 at 2 p.m. For more information, email wyandottefigureskaters@gmail.com.
