• Anderson football rallies late to down Roosevelt and earn first win of season (thenewsherald.com) — Roosevelt High hosted rival Southgate Anderson in Wyandotte for their annual "Block Out Cancer" football game, but a late rally gave Anderson a 22-19 win and its first victory of the season. The Bears fell to 1-3 and now look to regroup before visiting Woodhaven next Friday, while Anderson prepares for a homecoming matchup with Dearborn Edsel Ford.
