Man Arrested For Allegedly Racking Shotgun During House Party
He's expected to be charged with being in possession of a firearm while intoxicated, which is punishable by up to 93 days in jail.

A 49-year-old man is locked up after allegedly getting drunk on Super Bowl Sunday and racking a shotgun with a house full of people, including children.
Police were called to the house in the 2600 block of 9th Street at about 7:30 p.m. after the man, who lived in the house, got into an argument with a group of friends and relatives.
“They were playing cards and partying and things got out of hand,” Police Chief Daniel Grant said.

Grant said the man went into a back room, racked a shotgun and came out. His wife tried to calm him down, but then he began racking the gun again, Grant said.
“She called 911 and we were able to get everyone out of the house,” he said. “I was on the verge of activating the SWAT team when the man came out of the house on his own. He was really hammered.”
