March Becomes New Home for State's Presidential Primary
Next year, Michigan's presidential primary election will move from February to second Tuesday of March.

Gov. Rick Snyder approved measures that sets the state’s presidential primary election on the second Tuesday in March from now on, according to a HometownLife report. That means voters will held to the polls March 8 next year.
The legislation also means February’s regular election moves to the second Tuesday of March during presidential primary years, the report added.
