Patch Picks: Five Ethnic Restaurants in Wyandotte

Those with room for dessert can order a cannoli, a confection made fresh at the restaurant.

Dining at Michelangelo’s Italian Bistro is a chance to enjoy some delectable Italian dishes in an upscale setting. Traditional Italian choices such as spaghetti and ravioli can be ordered alongside specialties like the Veal Michelangelo, which is the signature dish of owner and head chef . Restaurant décor is heavily inspired by an architectural style that is primarily associated with the Italian Renaissance Period.

Enjoying a meal at Angelina’s Mexican Restaurant is a delicious, and affordable, ethnic dining experience. Tacos, enchiladas and chimichangas are just some of the favorite Mexican-American menu items available at the downtown eatery. Polonus offers generous portions of such Polish-American favorites as city chicken, kielbasa and stuffed cabbage. Those who like Chinese food can visit Lichee Garden, which is located downtown and open every day. Popular menu items include sweet and sour chicken, Wonton soup, pork fried rice and Chinese style shrimp. Customers can dine in or choose from the restaurant’s carryout menu.
