Police Blotter: Men Fight, Then Run Off Together from Police
In other cases, a snowblower and a navigation system were reported stolen.

An early morning fight in the 100 bock of St. Johns led to one man being arrested at about 2:15 a.m. Tuesday.
While patrolling the neighborhoods, an officer spotted the two men stumbling, staggering and swinging at each other in the middle of the street.
The officer asked the men for their identifications and did a background check on both. One of them came back with several outstanding warrants for obstructing police, assault and traffic offenses.

As the officer was radioing for backup, the two men took off running, jumping over walls and fences.
The officer chased them to an apartment building in the 800 block of Biddle. The man wanted on warrants ran inside the building and locked the door. The other man continued running through yards and driveways and jumping over fences before attempting to hide in a residential neighborhood.

Officers were able to catch up with him after he attempted to run down Biddle again. He was pepper sprayed as one of the officers said it appeared he was ready to spit on him.
The 22-year-old Ypsilanti man was arrested for resisting and obstructing and for being a disorderly person. A breath test showed his blood-alcohol level to be 0.20 percent. The legal limit in Michigan is 0.08 percent.
The 25-year-old Ecorse man wanted on the outstanding warrants never resurfaced and was not arrested. However, he left his driver’s license with the officer.
Snowblower, navigation system stolen in separate incidents
A snowblower was reported stolen shortly before 9 a.m. Wednesday out of a garage in the 4600 block of 17th Street.
Police tracked footprints in the snow that led from the garage to St. Ignace, between 17th and 18th streets. The tracks were then lost in the street.
A navigation system was reported stolen at about 11 a.m. Wednesday out of a 2009 Ford F-150 in the 1200 block of 11th Street.
The vehicle owner said he thought the truck was locked, but there were no signs of forced entry.
