An 18-year-old man believed to be responsible for shooting a BB gun at his neighbors' property in the 1300 block of Spruce was arrested Friday. The teen is charged with malicious destruction of property, as well as drug possession as officers said Xanax pills were discovered inside his house. Three residents who live across the street from the teen reported their property being damaged by a BB gun early Friday morning. In one case, the driver's-side rear passenger window of a 1993 GMC Suburban was shot out. Another neighbor's front window of her house also was shot at. A third neighbor said the front, storm door window of his house had been shot out. Besides the BB damage, officers said they believe the teen also tried to break into two nearby garages.
