Police Hope Fingerprints, Video Can Solve Theft at Bar

Wyandotte police are looking for three people who broke into games and whose images were captured by a surveillance camera at My Place Bar & Grill.

Two men and a woman broke into electronic dart boards and other games inside the bar while it was open at about 11:30 p.m. Oct. 17. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken and the machines were heavily damaged.

Officers were able to lift some prints off the machines, which they’ll use along with the bar’s surveillance camera in their investigation, Detective Lt. Bobie Heck said.

“We got some prints and we’re processing them and hoping to get some luck on it,” Heck said.

One man is described as being between 28 and 32 years old and the other between 55 and 60 years old. The woman looked to be between the ages of 28 and 32 years old, police said.

The surveillance video can be watched on the bar's Facebook page.
