Wyandotte Car Show Kicks Off Cruisin' Downriver

The event takes place from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday near Eureka and Biddle.

Wyandotte will once again serve as the official starting point to Cruisin’ Downriver.

To get things going, the second annual “Cruisin’ Downriver Kickoff Car Show” will overtake the parking lot at Eureka and Biddle from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday.

The entry fee is $20 and includes the show, a dash plaque and a Cruisin’ Downriver T-shirt. Registration is limited to the first 200 vehicles.

Spectators can enjoy the show for free. Parking is available at Yack .

The show is jointly sponsored by the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber, the city of Wyandotte, WOMC-FM and The News-Herald Newspapers. Each business will award a trophy at the show.

Cruisin’ Downriver takes over Fort Street from Outer Drive in Lincoln Park to Sibley in Riverview from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday. This year marks the 12th annual event, which rolls through Lincoln Park, Wyandotte, Southgate and Riverview.
