Wyandotte Roosevelt Graduates 272

School superintendent Patricia Cole says the class is 'a source of pride' for the district.

The Class of 2011 will be remembered for many achievements.

During Thursday night's graduation ceremonies at , school superintendent Patricia Cole called the 272 graduates "a source of pride" for the district.

"We can't imagine life without you," said Cole, who is retiring at the end of the month.

Senior class president Mitchell Kittle, co-valedictorians Nolan Gage and Brandon Quigley and salutatorian Mitchell Lawyer addressed their classmates.

Kittle, who said the class enjoyed challenges, will face some of his own after accepting an appointment to the .

and Quigley urged graduates to reach their potential.

"We all can do great things," Quigley said.

Principal Patrick Hickey and Wyandotte Board of Education President Michael Swiecki also addressed the commencement ceremony.

The award-winning Theodore Roosevelt High School Bands, the A Cappella Choir and the Roosevelt High School Combined Instrumental Ensembles performed for the crowd.
