Women of Wyandotte put on its first health and nutrition expo on Sunday at Roosevelt High School.

Several vendors had tables set up, offering free food samples, along with information on health and nutrition. staffers were on hand offering free blood-pressure checks.

The four-hour event also featured speakers, including Paul Krause who spoke on vegetarian living, Andrea McNinch who talked about raw foods and Jodi Davis who shared her personal story of dropping 162 pounds in 16 months and keeping it off for 10 years by walking and eating healthier.
