I reached 251 miles today – only 800 miles more to go!
To either family, be it the Beaumonts, or the birds ... it will be a Spring blessing for sure.

Well, I had no idea that our Earth is 4.543 billion years old, did you?
A beautiful weekend ahead will more than make up for last weekend’s abysmal weather.
It’s been quite a year so far – first the meteorite, now an earthquake.
Let’s fast forward to Friday and a weekend that is promised to be sunny and dry – that’s just great and I can’t wait.
I appreciated the chance to escape at the end of the day, but I’m not sure that I’m richer for the experience.
It was serendipity that I made this trek on a snow-showery April day, only to cross paths with this beautiful Great Blue Heron.

I look forward to the next time, when our “real Spring” finally arrives and hopefully the gloves can be cast aside.
It’s “National No-Housework Day” so I gave myself a break and lingered a little longer on my walk, giving me a smidge over five miles.

I got four miles done today, some steps by my own two feet, and still others as I rolled like a giant tumbleweed along the pathway.
