He remains at large, and residents are urged not to approach him but to call Wyoming detectives, 911 in emergencies, or Silent Observer with any tips that could help locate him.

HOPE Gardens opens new community greenhouse (schoolnewsnetwork.org) — A Wyoming-based nonprofit, HOPE Gardens, has opened a new permanent community greenhouse behind West Godwin Elementary, growing more than 10,000 heirloom plants started by local students. The group partners with Wyoming, Godfrey-Lee, Godwin Heights and Grandville schools to teach kids and neighbors sustainable food-growing skills, with more student programming and community activities planned at the site.

At 99, this Navy veteran still volunteers every Monday at West MI hospital (wzzm13.com) — A 99-year-old Navy veteran is still walking the halls of UM Health-West in Wyoming every Monday, logging thousands of volunteer hours checking on building maintenance. Staff recently surprised him with a birthday party, celebrating both his service history and his ongoing dedication to the hospital community alongside his proud family.

4. Two taken to hospital after two-car Ottawa County crash (wwmt.com) — A 21-year-old woman from Wyoming was injured Monday when her car collided with another vehicle on 44th Street SW in Georgetown Township, briefly closing westbound lanes. Both she and a 73-year-old Hudsonville man were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, though his were described as serious. The road has since reopened to traffic.
