MN Shooting Leaves 3 Dead, Including Suspected Shooter: Reports
Four people are dead following an "active shooter" incident in Cloquet, Minnesota, on Monday evening, according to reports.
CLOQUET, MN — Three people, including the suspected gunman, were found dead Monday evening following an "active shooter" situation in the small northern Minnesota town of Cloquet, according to reports.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office confirmed the fatalities to the Star Tribune.
The shooting occurred near Big Lake Road and Highway 33 in the city’s business district. A community alert sent around 7 p.m. told people to shelter in place and that there was an "extreme" severity with an "extraordinary threat to life or property," FOX 21 reported.

"Stay Clear of the Area: If you are not in the immediate vicinity, avoid Big Lake Road and Hwy 33. Do not attempt to approach the area until authorities declare it safe," the alert said.
Cloquet police said in a later "active shooter update" that the area was secured, and the "shelter-in-place" was lifted just after 8:30 p.m.
