Heavy Rain, Flooding Washes Out Highways In Northern Minnesota
"Residents of the Allouez and Itasca areas should prepare immediately as your way in and out of the rest of Superior may be cut off soon."

Heavy rains washed out several highways in northeastern Minnesota Saturday night. Part of Highway 23 near Highway 210 is closed after flash floods eroded away the soil, collapsing the roadway.
Superior, Wisconsin mayor Jim Paine said the Nemadji River is expected to flood Highway 2 Sunday.
"Residents of the Allouez and Itasca areas should prepare immediately as your way in and out of the rest of Superior may be cut off soon," he said on Facebook. "We aren’t sure when exactly but it could be as early as this afternoon."
