Minnesota Gets Its First Snow Of The Season: Photos
Winter arrived early in northern Minnesota.
ORR, MN — It's official. Minnesota saw its first snow of the season today, Oct. 3. The National Weather Service says it received a snow accumulation report of 1.6 inches near Orr, Minnesota.
About 0.5 inches of snow accumulated in Bigfork, Minnesota.

The snow likely won't stick around long. However, the Northland is expected to see more frost or near-frost temperatures, with lows in the lower 30s.
