MN Weather: Erratic Temperature Swings Next Week
"Temperatures will be rather variable for mid-September," the National Weather Service said.

TWIN CITIES, MN — The high temperatures in the Twin Cities metro area next week will jump around erratically. The high Sunday will jump to 86, and 84 Monday. However, on Wednesday, the high will be in the mid-60s.
"Due to several frontal passages the end of this week into early next week, temperatures will be rather variable for mid-September," the National Weather Service said.
As for tonight, expect severe thunderstorms.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 83. Breezy, with a south wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
Thursday Night: Showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2am. Low around 61. South wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Friday: Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8am. High near 71. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 49. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 74. Light southeast wind becoming south southeast 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
