Paul Gazelka Announces Run For Governor Of Minnesota
Paul Gazelka joins Sen. Michelle Benson and former Sen. Scott Jensen as Republicans who hope to unseat Gov. Tim Walz next year.
TWIN CITIES, MN — Former state Senate majority leader Paul Gazelka Wednesday announced he will run for governor of Minnesota in 2022.
Gazelka, a Republican who represented East Gull Lake for four senate terms, stepped down from his role as leader of the state Senate earlier this month.
He joins Sen. Michelle Benson and former Sen. Scott Jensen as Republicans who hope to unseat Gov. Tim Walz next year.
