Temperatures Will Take A Nosedive This Weekend: MN Weather
Showers and thunderstorms will bring a cold front into the Twin Cities metro this weekend.
TWIN CITIES, MN — Following a week of hot weather, showers and thunderstorms will bring a cold front this weekend. Saturday's high will be 74, and the low will be 53, according to the National Weather Service.
The storms arrive Friday night and will bring up to a half-inch of rain.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 74. West wind 10 to 15 mph.
Saturday Night: Clear, with a low around 53. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light north northwest in the evening.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 78. Light east wind becoming southeast 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
Sunday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 64. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Monday: Sunny, with a high near 85. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon.
Monday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1am. Mostly clear, with a low around 62. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Tuesday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
