• Alexandria housing authority's levy of $444,878 is approved (echopress.com) — Alexandria's City Council has approved a 2027 levy of $444,878 for the Housing and Redevelopment Authority, supporting local housing studies, inspections, and major projects like the Twenty08 Apartments and Nokomis Crossing. The HRA also reports full occupancy in public housing, new support for Emerald Pines manufactured home residents, and federal funding for upgrades at Woodhill Townhomes and other Alexandria programs.
