The Eastview Community Foundation is seeking donated art to be sold at the Fifth Annual Art Madness event. The Foundation will accept photography, paintings, mixed media, original and limited edition prints, jewelry, weaving and sculpture. Last year’s event featured over 200 pieces donated from students and teachers in the Eastview community as well as local, regional and national artist. In addition to art, we are also seeking other contributions such as dining, theatre and sports stuff. The event attracted 225 guests and raised over $15,000. “With the continued support of our community our goal to raise $20,000 at this year’s event”, stated event Chair, Molly Wellik.
Art Madness will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 7 to 11 pm at The Barn at Spirit Brandtjen Farms, located at 16965 Brandtjen Farm Drive in Lakeville. Tickets may be purchased in advance at www.evcf.org for $35 or at the door for $40. All tickets purchased before Oct. 10 will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift certificate at Zest Restaurant in Eagan.
