Norma M. (Wilkinson) Wade, 87, of Apple Valley, formerly of Eagan, was called home to her Savior on Aug. 31, 2012. Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; she is survived by her children Philip (Nancy) Wade, Anita (Mark) Pfauth, Susan (Stephan) Wade, Katie (Richard) Baker; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother Gerald Wilkinson; sister-in-law Barbara Wilkinson; many nieces, nephews and other loved ones. After working as a "Rosie the Riveter" during World War II, Norma and Ray made their new home a loving one, with Norma staying involved in her church, along with scouting, 4H, and school activities with their children. Norma also displayed her artistic talent in the Cedar Grove Garden Club and working with ceramics. Following Ray's retirement, Norma and Ray redirected much of their time and energy to several programs with DARTS (a local area volunteer service). Following a private interment, a memorial service will be Saturday, Sept. 8, at 1 pm at St. Martha and Mary Episcopal Church, 4180 Lexington Ave. S., Eagan.
