Sarah (Nelson) Carr, 35, of Elmira, NY, formerly of Rosemount, died Sept. 9, 2012. Sarah is survived by her husband, Robert Carr; parents, Lloyd and Cindy Nelson; sister, Laurel (Brian) Redd; grandmother, Elaine Clausen; in-laws, John and Doris Carr; sisters-in-law, Beth (Tom) Cox and Patricia (Wayne) Weller; brother-in-law, John Carr, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her coworkers and patients, and by special friends, Karin (Michael) Larson, Sarah Richtmyer, and Karli Rybak. Sarah was preceded in death by her stillborn daughter, Kathryn. Sarah was a 1995 graduate of Rosemount High School and a 1999 graduate of Mt. Mary College, Milwaukee, WI, in occupational therapy. At the time of her death, Sarah was employed by the Elmira NY Psychiatric Center as an OT. Sarah's life will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at Hastings United Methodist Church in Hastings.
