Rosemount City Council to Interview Finalists for City Administrator
The Rosemount City Council next week will interview four finalists hoping to serve as the city's administrator.

The Rosemount City Council is looking to narrow make a final decision on who to select as the city's next administrator. The City Council will conduct individual interviews with the four remaining finalists Nov. 4 and Nov. 5. Council members will also host a reception for the candidates to which the public is invited on Nov. 4 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Rosemount Community Center, 13885 South Robert Trail.
The chosen applicant will replace Rosemount City Administrator Dwight Johnson, who announced plans to retire by the end of the year. He has led the City’s staff since 2008, according to a news release.
The finalists are, in alphabetical order:

Brian Anderson, who has served as city administrator of Faribault since 2013. He previously worked at the Minnesota cities of Newport, Lakeville, and Woodbury and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of St. Thomas.
Brian Carlson, who has served as assistant town administrator of Wellfleet, Massachusetts since 2014. He previously worked at the Massachusetts cities of Provincetown, Boston, and Worcester and holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Suffolk University in Boston.

Chris Heineman, who has served as community planning and development director of Northfield since 2012. He previously worked at the Minnesota cities of Kenyon, Lake City, and Anoka and holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Hamline University.
Logan Martin, who has served as city administrator of Bayport since 2013. He previously worked at Oakdale and holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Hamline University.
