Simply Thinking of You
Here's another quick and simple card idea that you can easily make yourself.

I'm back this week with another quick and simple card making idea. The sentiment I chose for my card was "Thinking of You," but this card idea would work well for a birthday or congratulations theme as well.
Begin by creating four squares. The square size I used on my card was 1 1/4", but 1" will work as well. Use a corner punch on two opposite corners of each square. The next step is to arrange them on the card front, making sure the four corners that meet in the middle are all square (not rounded). Use adhesive to attach to card front. I punched a 3/4" circle as a center (to create a flower), but a different look will be achieved without the circle.
After selecting my sentiment, I stamped it on an appropriate size piece card stock and attached to card front. If your card base is a lighter color, there is no need for this extra card stock. Just stamp your sentiment directly onto the card base. I also attached a piece of ribbon to the left edge of the card.

Choose your colors to match the theme of the card. I wanted my card to be bright and cheery because it was a "Thinking of You" card. The color scheme for a "Congratulations" theme card could possibly include school colors if the occasion is a graduation. Or, for a wedding, choose the colors used in the wedding celebration. Here's another idea—instead of using solid color paper, use a pattern paper instead.
In this day of texting and emails take some time to slow down the pace and show someone you care by sending them a card. It will make their day!!
