Preschool for Two-Year-Olds

Find out which local church is offering preschool for 2-year-olds. Yes, it does exist! Do you know of others?

I love my kids, but sometimes I just need a break, so I started looking into sending my daughter to preschool in the fall. When I was looking around, everything that I found had a minimum age requirement of three. So I sort of gave up on it for a while since my daughter only just turned two.

Well, lo and behold, one of my mom friends posted on her FB wall that Rosemount United Methodist Church has a program called London Bridge Discovery Zone specifically for two and early three-year-olds. The class starts in September and is held once a week on Friday mornings through May. Adults drop them off at 9:30 and pick them up at noon. Cost is $50 per month. Here is the registration form. The only requirement is that your child is two by October 15. Potty training is NOT required. Yay!

Registration opened on January 3. As of the 17th of January, there were still 10 spots left. I know it seems early, but I guarantee this will fill up fast if it hasn't already. Any questions about the program can be directed to Karen Klekner, Children’s Ministries Director at kklekner@rosemountumc.org or 651-423-2475. Rumor has it that there is one other church in the area that offers a preschool for two-year-olds, but no one seems to remember which one. If you know, please let us know by commenting!
