An east metro restaurant hosted a benefit Saturday to raise funds for Sawyer's recover.

BAYPORT, MN — Friends, family, and other community members are rallying around Sawyer Warner, the 9-year-old boy who fell more than 30 feet from a waterslide at the Apple Valley Aquatic Center in July.
Woodys Bar & Grill in Bayport hosted a benefit Saturday to raise funds for Sawyer's recover.
"We're just incredibly grateful for the outpouring from the community, from our neighbors, friends and family that has occurred in the last few months since the day it happened," Sawyer's mother, Stacy, told KARE 11.

Police say Roman Adams picked up the boy and pushed him over the railing as they were waiting in line on a waterslide platform.
The boy suffered several fractures to both his feet, a broken femur in one leg, and shattered bones in a shoulder, according to authorities.
Adams told police the line was taking too long so he pushed the boy and watched him fall, the criminal complaint states.
