The Lightning fell to Elk River and Eden Prairie on Tuesday in the Class AA state tournament
The Eastview boys tennis team finished its season Tuesday at the Class AA state tournament, losing both its matches at the University of Minnesota Baseline Tennis Center.
The Lightning fell 5-2 to Elk River in the quarterfinals, then lost 6-1 to Eden Prairie in the consolation bracket.
Against Elk River, Aaron Larson and Sam Cychosz picked up a 6-2, 7-6 (7-2) victory over the Elks’ Joshua Chuba and Zachary Steinchen. Eastview’s Daniel Spika and Matthew Haugdahl also won at No. 3 singles, beating Nathan Chanthamontry and Logann Burns 6-0, 6-7 (4-7), (10-6).

Agains Eden Prairie, Eastview’s Tommy Vang was the lone winner at No. 4 singles. He defeated Dylan Magnani 6-4, 6-2.
