The City of Rosemount will host a reception to say farewell and thanks to Kurt Bills, who left the City Council last month to serve as Rosemount's representative in the Minnesota House.
Rep. Bills will be honored at the reception on Tuesday in the Council chambers at Rosemount City Hall. The public is invited to the event, which will take place between that night's Port Authority and Council meetings.
The Council is in the process of selecting a successor to Rep. Bills to serve the remaining two years on his City term.
