The fall program series begins Sept. 1 with the “Faces of New America” photo exhibit at the Burnhaven and Galaxie libraries. The month-long exhibit features large-scale photographs of first and second generation immigrant youth by award-winning photographer and filmmaker Jila Nikpay. On Sept. 24, 1–2:30 p.m., Nikpay will present and discuss her photo collection at the Galaxie Library, 14955 Galaxie Ave., Apple Valley.
