Fire Hydrants are buried in ice and snow!

This fire hydrant has been adopted!   I keep the hydrant clear of  ice and snow, 3 feet in all directions!  My neighbors are now helping to keep it clear!

I hope we NEVER need water from this hydrant! But if we do, I want the firefighters to have immediate access to the hydrant! If they had to shovel the hydrant clear, that would delay getting and spraying water - with all this snow that could be 15 minutes!

Please, go out and shovel the snow and ice away from all hydrants.
