APPLE VALLEY, MN — Police in Apple Valley say a homeless man was causing a disturbance in the city this week. On March 2 and 3 a.m., officers were dispatched to a local hotel for an unwanted man "hanging out" at the hotel.

Management said the man was pacing in the front of the building for a long time, and was making them nervous. Police learned the man was homeless and from Wisconsin, and was told to leave the property.

Later, another downtown business reported an "unruly customer" who refused to leave the store. Management at this business said he was making threats to others as he walked around. He pushed the manager when asked to leave, according to the report.

Officers located the man next door. It was the same homeless man from Wisconsin causing the disturbance.

The store manager did not want to press any criminal charges, but the man was issued a trespass notice and was told not to come back to the store.
