Letter to the Editor: Vote for Greg Clausen in Senate District 57

To the editor,

I am writing in support of the election of Greg Clausen for Senate District 57. For the record, I am President of Dakota County United Educators that represents the teachers/nurses of ISD 196 and a resident of Senate District 57.

It has been my privilege to have known Greg as colleague and a friend for over 35 years. Greg’s election would bring someone who is fair minded, trustworthy, well spoken, and ethical to the Minnesota Senate. He is someone who has demonstrated the ability to reach out to all involved parties and work toward consensus when faced with difficult decisions. 

Greg’s background as a classroom teacher, coach, building principal, and district administrator gives him a wealth of knowledge to address the challenges facing schools these days.  He will bring a unique, needed perspective to the legislative process regarding the issues pertaining to education.

I urge the voters of Senate District 57 to join me and support the election of Greg Clausen to the state Senate.
