Man Tried Luring Girl In Dakota Co. With $100, 'Lost’ Puppy: Cops
Authorities are asking parents to be on the lookout and advise children to stay away from strangers.

DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — Patrol deputies are investigating after a man approached a child and tried to lure her into his black pickup truck in Castle Rock Township. The incident took place at Berring Avenue and 225 Street West.
An approximately 60-year-old white man in a black pickup truck approached a 10-year-old girl and offered her a $100 dollars and candy if she would get into his truck to help him find his "lost" puppy.
Police are asking residents to write down license plates and distinguishing characteristics of suspicious vehicles and occupants. Be on the lookout and advise your children to stay away from strangers.
