The Apple Valley boys hockey team beat Eastview High School 4-1 during the Section 3AA playoff at Apple Valley High School on Thursday. Apple Valley senior Kris Goodman led the scoring, getting a hat trick in the third period. Apple Valley head coach Jerry Hayes said the scoring was huge for Goodman. "He [Goodman] has played hockey here for twelve or thirteen years, and to get a hat trick on your last home game is something special," Hayes said. Apple Valley, who is 19-6-1, will play Cretin-Derham Hall on Saturday.
