Apple Valley's softball team beat Eastview 10-6 in a chilly cross-town rivalry game Monday afternoon. The Eagles and Lightning endured near-freezing temperatures during the contest, held at Apple Valley High School. Apple Valley's 10 runs came off 13 hits. The Eagles committed two errors and left 7 on base. Eastview garnered their six tallies from nine hits, and had three errors. The winning pitcher for Apple Valley was Loryn Charbonneau.
