Spring season comes to an end for the Irish in a 13-0 loss to top-seeded Blaze.

The Rosemount baseball team ran into a buzzsaw in its Section 3AAA second-round matchup on Monday as top-seeded Burnsville brought a prompt end to the Irish's season via 13-0 shutout at Alimagnet Park on Monday afternoon.

Starting pitcher Jordan Tumilson was saddled with the loss as the the Blaze took a 4-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back as the ninth-seeded Irish were only able to scrape together four hits in the game.

Rosemount's biggest threat to score came and went in the second inning as the Irish put two runners in scoring position, yet were stymied in their attempts to bring a run across the plate.
