The Eastview High School AVID* Program is working in
collaboration with the programs at Eagan/Apple Valley/Rosemount to host a
gently used Dress Drive and Prom Dress Resale/Expo. We will be collecting dress donations from 11:00am
– 2:00pm this Saturday, January 11th. Dresses will be
collected at all four district high schools this Saturday and again on January
25, February 1, and February 15. Each high school will have a donation area near the front
entrance of the school. In exchange for your donated dress, you will
receive a discount on a new gown at The Wedding Shoppe (St. Paul) as well as a
discount on nail or hair services at Lili Salon (Edina). All donated
dresses will be available at our Prom Dress Resale/Expo on Saturday, March 8th
at Eastview High School. Our goal is to collect 300+ dresses of all
colors, sizes and styles and offer a wide selection of gowns at a reasonable
price (all dresses will sell for $20 - $75) to help
students prom more affordable. Proceeds from the sale will go to support
our district schools’ AVID* programs; any unsold dresses will be donated to
