Rosemount Man Charged With 10th OWI Offense
A Twin Cities man was arrested in Wisconsin July 4 and charged with 10th offense OWI and failure to install an ignition interlock device.

DUNN COUNTY, WI — A man from Rosemount, Minnesota has been arrested and charged for allegedly operating a motor vehicle under the influence in western Wisconsin. The incident is his 10th OWI offense, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.
On July 4 at 10:07 p.m., a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper stopped a Maroon 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix on Highway 29 at 765th Street for a traffic violation. The driver, Lawrence M. LaPole, 47, of Rosemount, was arrested and charged with 10th offense OWI, failure to install an ignition interlock device, operating without a valid drivers license and following too closely.
LaPole was taken to Mayo Health in Menomonie for a blood draw then onto the Dunn County jail where he remains incarcerated, according to a news release.

A charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
