$31 million is the projected cost to implement Dakota County Parks proposed development plan for Lebanon Hills Regional Park.
Tree removal, grading, fill and benching (cutting off hilltops to make flatter)...replacing existing woodlands thru the heart of the park with asphalt. That's just part of the plan.
The changes proposed are irreversible and will significantly change Lebanon Hills.
Dakota County Commissioners (elected representatives) will decide whether or not to approve this plan. If you have an opinion, they need to hear from you! Submit comments to: board@co.dakota.mn.us.
