The 2nd annual Rosemount Writers Festival and Book Fair is Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Steeple Center in Rosemount

The 2nd annual Rosemount Writers Festival and Book Fair takes place on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at the Steeple Center in Rosemount, Minn. Lorna Landvik is the keynote speaker for the Writers Festival. The author of 11 best-selling books, Lorna will talk about writing, publishing, inspiration, and aggravation in a fun-filled and informative talk.

In addition to the keynote, there will be 18 workshops on writing-related subjects. They run the gamut from the very beginning of planning and crafting your book to finding a publisher and then marketing and promoting your work (and yourself) as an author. Workshop presenters include some of the leading voices from the local literary scene, as well as seasoned and award-winning authors.

Getting Happily Published, How to Get Started, Social Media for Writers, Writing for Children, Memoirs, and Writing Peace into the World are among the 18 workshop choices. For information on the keynote, workshops and to register, go to www.rosemountwritersfestival.com.
