Super Bowl 52 Week Shows: Ellie Goulding, Chainsmokers, More

The Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake is hosting several internationally known artists in February during the week of the Super Bowl.

PRIOR LAKE, MN — The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community’s Mystic Lake Casino Hotel announced Wednesday that Grammy-nominated Ellie Goulding and DJ Kygo as the headliners for the Friday, Feb. 2, 2018 show leading up Super Bowl LII at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Last month, Mystic Lake Casino Hotel announced The Chainsmokers as the headline act kicking off the weekend of performances on Thursday, Feb. 1, and Florida Georgia Line as the performing act on Saturday night, Feb. 3, the night before the Super Bowl. The last act closing the weekend will be announced in the coming weeks.

“We are excited to announce Ellie Goulding and Kygo as the headliners for Friday night’s lineup," Angela Heikes, president and CEO of the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community’s Gaming Enterprise, said in a statement. "You won’t want to miss this night."

Since English pop singer and songwriter Ellie Goulding’s 2010 studio album "Lights," she has topped the UK Albums Chart and peaked at number two on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 charts. After her second studio album "Halcyon" was released, she won the award for British Female Solo Artist at the 2014 Brit Awards, and was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2015 for Best Pop Solo Performance for her single "Love Me Like You Do."

General admission tickets for Ellie Goulding and Kygo go on sale on Saturday, December 9, at 10 a.m. (CT) at Ticketmaster.com, by calling (952) 496-6563, or at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel box office. General admission tickets are priced at $200. The venue is designed with tiered mezzanines with private VIP sections.
