Watch Out: Boulders On South Metro Roads Cause Crashes
Keep an eye out for rocks that were left in the middle of the road.

SCOTT COUNTY, MN — Authorities in the south metro are looking for answers after boulders were left in the middle of the road, causing several crashes. Incidents have been reported on 217th Street East and Dakota Avenue in Lakeville, as well as on County Road 27.
At least four cars have been damaged, according to the Scott County Sheriff's Office. Darren Rust said on Facebook his son hit a rock Thursday, which "jacked up" their SUV:
"Looking for any information on the twisted individuals who thought it was funny to roll boulders onto the road at cars at 10:00 last night! 4 cars hit them sustaining serious damage, including my son Skyler. Police said there were 8 other reports of huge rocks and cinder blocks being placed or rolled onto the road at oncoming cars last night, and this was the 4th night in a row!"
Rust's post received more than a hundred comments and saw nearly 300 shares.
