Weekly Update: Rosemount's Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Committee Gets Boost

Bogart’s Apple Place Bowl donated $5,028 to Rosemount’s Beyond the Yellow Ribbon committee during the Sept. 18 Rosemount City Council meeting.

The donation was a portion of the proceeds from a golf tournament that Bogart’s sponsored this past summer.
Rosemount is one of dozens of municipalities in Minnesota that hold the distinction of being a Beyond the Yellow Ribbon city.

According to the Beyond the Yellow Ribbon website, “a Yellow Ribbon Community unites all areas within a community to create a comprehensive network that connects and coordinates agencies, organizations, resources and employers for the purpose of proactively supporting [service members] and military families."
Rosemount’s Beyond the Yellow Ribbon committee typically meets at 7 p.m. the second Monday of the month at City Hall, according to the city’s website. Click here for more information about the local group.
