• Brainerd council seeks transit data amid fare concerns (brainerddispatch.com) — Baxter riders are paying more than double Brainerd riders for some city-run transit trips, and Brainerd council members just ordered a deep data dive that could reshape those fares. The council also approved a 2027 agreement with Minnesota to keep transit service running in Brainerd, Baxter and Crow Wing County with shared state and local funding.

We’ve called several but everyone seems booked for the season. (Nextdoor Baxter) - From the UMN Extension website, it looks like there are more than one kind of tent caterpillars - "forest tent caterpillars" seems to be potentially more damaging to other plants than "eastern tent caterpillar"
