• Baxter, Mills Properties reach settlement on assessment (brainerddispatch.com) — Baxter has cut a disputed special assessment on Mills Property Investments from about $234,000 to $140,000 as part of a court settlement tied to the Design Road/Highway 371 project. The stormwater and sewer upgrades are designed to ease flooding near Highway 371 and Baxter’s commercial district while improving how runoff is cleaned before reaching the Mississippi River.
