U.S. Bank Stadium shines on graduating Blaine Bengals (hometownsource.com) — Blaine High School’s Class of 2026 just graduated at U.S. Bank Stadium, with speakers urging classmates to be adaptable, courageous and compassionate Bengals. Student leaders reflected on growing up in Blaine’s schools, confronting a divided world, and carrying that resilient Bengal spirit into college, work, the military and other paths ahead.

Derek James Schwartz — Anoka County (mncrime.com) — Blaine police played a key role in stopping a vehicle tied to a recent Anoka County chainsaw theft, spotting one of the missing saws in plain view. Officers from St. Francis then took the driver and passenger into custody, and the driver allegedly admitted stealing and pawning the equipment after it was listed for sale online.

Elite Abilities Spotlight, June 2: Eve Newman (kstp.com) — Special Olympics USA Games events are coming to the National Sports Center in Blaine June 20–26, bringing thousands of athletes, coaches, and fans to the area. One of those competitors is Roseville track and field athlete Eve Newman, who will race-walk and throw shot put as part of what’s billed as Minnesota’s largest humanitarian event ever.
