Conner Holcomb-Smith juggles choir, tennis, club soccer, and theater while honing vocal skills through regular lessons and solo-ensemble contests.
• Fire Update: Firefighters gains 60% containment on Flanders Fire (pineandlakes.com) — Fire crews have the Flanders Fire in northern Crow Wing County about 60% contained, but evacuations and access restrictions remain in place while hotspots are mopped up. Brainerd-based DNR air tankers and U-Haul’s Brainerd facility are helping protect residents and support those displaced. County officials declared a local emergency and will meet Wednesday on next steps.
